About Tom
I’m Tom Faber. I’m a husband, father, grandfather, pastor, writer, and founder of Full Grit Ministries & Publishing. I was born in Colorado, grew up in Kansas, and have lived in Louisiana since 1987, with a short season in Arkansas. My wife Lorrie and I have been married for over 40 years. We’ve raised three sons and are now blessed with nine incredible grandkids.

Before ministry and writing, I spent most of my life working as a maintenance mechanic, horticulturalist, beekeeper, and farmer. For 23 years, we ran a family farm where we raised livestock, grew produce, and sold at farmers markets. That kind of life teaches you things. It builds endurance. It deepens your faith. It teaches you to find joy even when nothing is easy.
In 1988, I stepped into ministry. It didn’t begin with a platform or a microphone. It started with showing up when folks were hurting. It grew through late-night visits, early morning prayers, and a deep belief that God meets people right where they are. Today, I serve as senior pastor of Jonesboro Christian Fellowship in north Louisiana. We are a church built on grace, truth, community, and second chances.

My Writing
I write books for people who are tired of pretending they have it all together. My stories and studies are for the weary, the wondering, and the ones who have been through the fire. I write fiction that captures the struggle between darkness and redemption. I write devotionals and Bible studies that speak to real life. I write because I believe the grit of our lives makes grace shine brighter.
