A Rare Opportunity to Own a Piece of Purpose-Built Land in Jackson Parish, Your own Homestead, Hobby Farm, or Healing Space... You Decide...
After 23 years of raising vegetables, honeybees, caring for livestock, and working the land with our own hands, we’ve come to the end of a season. Farming has been a labor of love, hard, honest work that shaped our lives in countless ways. Now, it’s time to turn our focus fully toward the next chapter as we pour our hearts into ministry through Jonesboro Christian Fellowship and Full Grit Ministries & Publishing. While stepping away from the farm is bittersweet, we do so with peace, knowing this land still holds so much potential. Our hope and prayer is that it finds its way into the hands of someone who will love it, steward it well, and find joy in its quiet beauty. May it be a place of peace, purpose, and provision for the next family who calls it home.
This farm has been more than just our home; it has been the heart of a thriving small business. We transformed the sunroom and occasionally the carport into dedicated sales spaces where customers could browse our farm-fresh produce, handmade soaps, honey, and baked goods. It served as a warm, welcoming spot for local folks who came to shop, visit, and support what we grew and made with care. We also sold at local farmers' markets, building a loyal customer base that appreciated the quality and authenticity of what we offered. The property has everything needed for someone to continue that tradition or create their own version of it, whether it’s selling farm products, crafts, or baked goods, the space is already proven and ready. In addition to running a successful farm business, we also hosted a beloved summer "Farm Camp" for several years. Children from across the region came to experience hands-on learning about the rhythms of farm life. From feeding livestock and gathering eggs to planting vegetables, tending the garden, learning about bees, and even practicing basic food preservation, the camp gave kids a chance to get their hands dirty and their hearts full. It was one of the most rewarding things we ever did, watching young people light up as they learned where their food comes from and developed a deeper appreciation for hard work, nature, and simple living. This property has been a place of both provision and purpose, and we’d love to see that legacy continue in new and meaningful ways.
Tucked toward the back of the property is a small area we’ve set aside as a dedicated hunting spot, a quiet, shaded section where the whitetail deer tend to pass through regularly. The deer population around here is strong, and the hunting has always been good. Whether you enjoy sitting in a stand during the cool of the morning or walking the edges of the pasture at dusk, this little corner of the land offers a peaceful and productive place to hunt without ever leaving home. It's one more way this property can provide for those who love the outdoors.

- This property is not listed with an agent, nor are we interested in listing with an agent. No seller's fee will be paid.
- This property is being sold as is, no repairs, no concessions, no warranty.
- Feel free to visit our Facebook page to see how we've used the property/business over the past few years.
- Qualified buyers may make an appointment to view the property, but understand that we still live here and that we are transitioning out of farming, but the place is still a working farm to some degree.
We currently live in the home and want to be fully transparent about some repair needs. The house does require a little bit of TLC. A couple of floor joists have shifted off their piers, and there is a small section of subflooring that will need attention. These are fixable issues for someone handy or willing to invest a little time into the home’s upkeep.
