Get Gritty, Bro
By Thomas P. Faber | Full Grit Ministries
Grit isn’t about how loud you are.
It’s not measured by how much you lift or how tough you talk.
Biblical grit is quiet strength.
It’s steady faith.
It’s showing up when it’s hard and staying in it when no one’s clapping.
The world doesn’t need more men trying to look tough.
It needs more men willing to live surrendered.
Not perfect. Not polished. Just faithful.
“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13–14 (NLT)
That’s the call.
Courage with compassion.
Strength with surrender.
Conviction with kindness.
Grit Doesn’t Quit
We need men who can take a spiritual punch and not run.
Men who can admit when they’ve blown it and get back up.
Men who love their wives with grace, raise their kids with truth, and lead their homes without a platform or a pulpit.
You don’t need to be famous to be faithful.
You just need to be present.
And willing.
Grit shows up in the everyday.
In a quiet prayer before work.
In a patient word when you want to blow up.
In choosing the narrow road even when no one else is walking it.
The Time Is Now
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
But you do have to step forward.
Start where you are.
Open your Bible.
Ask God for help.
Be honest with a brother.
Lead your home like it matters—because it does.
“So be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you.”
Deuteronomy 31:6 (NLT)
God is not looking for superheroes.
He’s looking for surrendered men with willing hearts and steady hands.
Get gritty, bro.
Not by pretending to be tough.
But by choosing to follow Jesus when it’s costly, inconvenient, or unclear.
This world is watching.
Your family is watching.
Heaven is watching.
And the Spirit of God is ready to move—through men who are ready to stand.
